An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Management Lead to join the transformation team, and will be reporting to the Head of People, Culture and Performance. In this position, you will be instrumental in managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects which are highly integrated or working towards a common strategy. The role also provides project management to individual projects where required. This opportunity is open to candidates who may be seeking full time or part time work (must be able to work a minimum of 21 hours per week).

You will have the following responsibilities, amongst others:

  • Ensure all projects and the overall transformation program of work are successfully monitored, documented, tracked, reported, integrated and implemented;
  • Effectively control and manage the issues, risks, dependencies and changes in scope associated with a transformation program of work;
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure necessary milestones and deliverables are completed according to the project plan;
  • Coach, mentor, support and engage project teams to enhance the organisation’s project capabilities;
  • Develop and implement project governance framework and manage all aspects of the transformation program, from requirements gathering to implementation;
  • Preparation of combined Project Portfolio reports – summarising and measuring performance of the entire program of project work for Board, CEO and Management and perform post-implementation program/project reviews; and
  • Manage overall program and individual project budgets, establish project profitability and manage financial aspects of all projects to achieve profitability and return on investment.

To be considered for this opportunity you must demonstrate your achievement in the following areas:

  • Relevant degree qualification with 5+ years project management experience;
  • Demonstrable experience leading business and technology change related projects/programs of work in a client-and-people-centric organisation;
  • Strong understanding and application of all aspects of project cycle;
  • Well organised with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage the competing demands of multiple projects in a timely manner;
  • Strong understanding & consistent application of project and change management competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, cost, risk, procurement and integration; and
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
