Guthrie House Co-operative Incorporated is a not-for-profit residential transitional service for women, located in Enmore in Sydney’s Inner West.

Established in 1979, Guthrie House provides a unique, residential service which supports women with a current involvement in the criminal justice system in their transition back into the community. Many of the women also have complex health needs and a history of alcohol and/or drug abuse.

Guthrie House is funded by Corrective Services NSW, NSW Health, Family and Community Services and the Department of Health.

We are presently seeking suitably qualified applicants to join the board of Guthrie House. The Board provides guidance and oversight to the organisation and sets the strategic direction of Guthrie House to ensure it continues play a vital role in supporting some of the most vulnerable women in our society.

Applicants with a background in any of the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply:

• Women’s Health
• Family and Community Cervices
• Fundraising and Advocacy
• Experience working with First Nations Women
