In this entry-level position you will initially learn how to prepare for and deliver our philanthropic training events. The two activities that we run are truly world-class philanthropic learning experiences. We are the founders and operators of both the Helping Hands Program (www.helpinghandsprogram.com.au) and Water Works Program (www.waterworksprogram.com). Both activities have been delivered all over the world and received incredibly positive feedback.
Since our training programs involve people building life-changing products for people in need (either Prosthetic Hands or Water Filtration systems) it takes a lot of careful planning to make our events amazing. Once you've learned about how to pack and prepare our training materials, you'll learn about logistical planning with customers, then pretty soon we expect that you'll be able to plan and prepare for an entire event by yourself. That will primarily require both good customer service skills, exceptional attention to detail, and some basic administrative skills thrown in for good measure.
The role includes a good balance between computer-based and physically active work. So if you're looking for a job where your eyes won't be glued to a screen all day this could be the perfect job for you.
The role would particularly suit a recent graduate who is interested in supercharging their post-university career in business, learning and development, applied psychology, or human resources. However, we are open to all applicants. Please do not let your career background or educational qualifications stop you from throwing your hat in the ring for this opportunity!
If you are passionate about what we do and it feels as though you are a good fit for us (and we are a good fit for you), then we will be willing to train you up with all of the knowledge and skills that you'll need to succeed. Prior experience in corporate training, philanthropy, team-building, or fast-paced office environments might be handy, but experience is not essential.
