Highgate Early Learning Centre is an established not-for-profit, community run service providing long day-care and 3- & 4-year-old kindergarten programs. We are seeking a passionate and capable educator to join the 4-year-old Kindergarten team. The position is a fixed term contract to the end of the year, working Monday to Friday; 8 hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (8.30am - 5.30pm) and 5 hour shifts on Thursday and Friday (11am - 5pm). There is some flexibility with shift times for the right candidate.

Successful Candidates will have:

• a WWCC or VIT
• an approved Early Childhood Qualification
• Up to date First Aid HLTAID012 and CPR
• Mandatory Reporting completed in the last 12 months.
• Police Check dated within 6 months.
• Experience in Early Years Education and Care
• Knowledge of National Regulations and Laws

Experience working with children requiring additional support is preferred but not essential. Working co-operatively and effectively within a large team is critical.
