HIGHWAY YOUTH FACILITATORs ARE SPECIAL PEOPLE

We’re Highway - an innovative youth charity based in Melbourne working to meet young people where they’re at and inspire them to uncover what they want for themselves. Our Highway Youth Facilitators are very special as they hold transformational spaces for one-on-one sessions, group sessions and workshops, they help young people from across Australia find belonging and connection that is meaningful.

Joining Highway is an amazing experience to learn more about yourself, and connect with young people just like you!

We’ll train you to hold a space for young people online where they can share stories that matter to them and figure out their next step forward. You’ll be fully equipped to run these online sessions through our Highway Youth Facilitator Accreditation course, which focuses on youth wellbeing, spiritual care (this is spirituality about how connected you are to yourself - beyond religion), coaching, facilitation skills, and mental health first aid.

We’re looking for people who are passionate about people, someone who wants to support others, is comfortable and confident in a group setting and gets joy from making a real difference in a young person’s life.

• Reliable, resilient and committed
• Once you have been given an offer, we will ask for a Volunteer Working with Children's Check (WWC) and a Police Check

Please don’t stress if you feel like you’re not qualified enough. All we’re looking for are the right attributes and we’ll do the rest!
