Your role - Business Development Manager

We are looking for a motivated, passionate and purpose driven Business Development Manager to join our ever-growing team. Reporting into the National Partnerships Manager this role will be responsible for developing and growing Hireup’s Providers program.

The Business Development Manager will work with a cross-functional team to increase the number of disability service providers using Hireup find and manage back-up workers to cover gaps in their roster.

  • Working alongside the wider Providers team, develop and implement approaches to increase the number of disability service providers using Hireup find and manage back-up workers to cover gaps in their roster
  • Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and manage a pipeline of high value sales prospects
  • Identify opportunities for future business development and partnerships proposals; develop and communicate compelling business proposals
  • Contribute to product and marketing strategies to drive awareness, acquisition, activations, utilisation and retention Providers
  • Represent Hireup at relevant sector events, conferences and other activities
  • Drive success - support the Providers using Hireup to be successful and to meet their staffing goals
  • Deliver on targets​ - ensure our initiatives hit targets to contribute to our growth strategy. Being goal focused ensures this program becomes a lead contributor to Hireup’s central mission of serving and positively impacting the lives of people with disabilities and their families.

Your Background

  • An autonomous self-starter with demonstrated experience in business development, B2B sales or relationship management with a track record on delivering against targets and KPI’s
  • A growth focus - an entrepreneurial individual with highly developed problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • An ability to take the lead and drive programs from execution and report on outcomes
  • A strategic networker with exceptional people skills and demonstrated experience establishing value-adding relationships
  • Good communication and negotiation skills that can be tailored to different stakeholders and audiences
  • A team player​ with strong commercial acumen, vision and passion, and the ability to inspire, motivate and connect with peers and team mates
  • Experience across the disability sector desirable
  • Experience using a customer relationship management system to manage sales pipeline, activities and reporting
  • Strong values alignment​ - an empathetic individual, positive and proactive, a great team player, and an excellent communicator.
