Home Care Careers is brought to you by the Aged & Community Care Providers Association (ACCPA), the Human Services Skills Organization (HSSO), and Powerhouse Hub (PHH). It’s all part of the Home Care Workforce Support Program – creating 13,000 new roles to help seniors live independently.

Your Role

As a Home Care Worker, you'll:

• Provide personal care and companionship.
• Assist with household tasks and meal preparation.
• Coordinate wellness activities
• Monitor and communicate client well-being.
• Make a difference in their lives.
• Use your car to assist with shopping and other duties.

What do I need to start?

• Police Check
• Driving License and access to a vehicle
• Up to date First Aid Certificate
• Up to date with vaccinations including Flu and COVID-19
• Have “Rights to Work” in Australia
• If you possess a Certificate III in Individual Support/Certificate IV Ageing/Disability, we can assist you to find roles as a Home Care Worker.

I am new to Home Care?

We can find entry roles for you as a Domestic Assistant.

If you are looking to complete a Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021), our team can support access to RTO/TAFE’s that can get you started!
