In an endeavour to further their operational excellence, RJCC is looking for a dynamic CEO to lead the centre. Reporting to the Committee of Management, the successful candidate will be a champion for change and have proven experience in operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the general operational management of all business activities
- Driving cultural change through strong leadership
- Promoting transparency with the board and other key internal interdependencies
- Revision of policies according to best practice
- Community networking with local government representatives and key community members
- Maintaining working relationships at all levels
Key Selection Criteria:
- Proven success in similar scope of ‘hands on’ general management role (early childhood industry experience will be advantageous)
- Experience in leading a team through a period of cultural change
- Sound understanding of Industrial and Employee Relations
- Ability to implement and execute business and operational strategies
- Sound commercial and financial reporting acumen
- Networking - develop strong relationships with key local government and community figureheads
- Resilience
- Previous experience in tender and government grant applications
- Proven experience in planning for future capital improvements
- Appreciation of, and commitment to, ethical standards
Desirable Skills and Attributes:
- Previous experience in an education/early childhood setting
- Relevant tertiary and/or post-graduate qualification
- Experience in working with indigenous communities within an urban environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
