The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Strategy Delivery Lead will support AccessHC to deliver on our ambitious Strategy. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the CEO, Executive and Senior Leaders to develop and implement our business plan, while coordinating the delivery of major strategic projects through best practice project management discipline.

The position is initially for a Fixed Term of 12 Months, with potential to become an ongoing position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with the CEO, Executive and key stakeholders to develop, review and monitor the delivery of the AccessHC Business Plan, aligned to the organisation’s Strategic Plan.
  • Monitor and report on delivery of business plan activities on a quarterly basis
  • Work with project leads to develop business cases and budgets for major projects
  • Lead/support sourcing and selection of vendors to support delivery of major projects
  • Work collaboratively with the People and Culture team to ensure effective change management and communications is in place for all initiatives
  • Prepare regular reports to CEO, Executive and the Board on project performance, including return on investment and benefits realisation.
  • Facilitate consistent project management practices across the organisation, continuing to build project management capability, including for small projects and those being delivered outside of the team
  • In consultation with the People and Culture team, plan and facilitate regular engagement activities with staff and volunteers to engage them in AccessHC’s strategy, business plan and major projects.

Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business or similar, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project management/strategy role within a business, social or health environment.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong communication, influence and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed presentation and report writing skills
  • Strong business acumen.

Salary, Culture and Benefits

The salary for this position is $130,000 per annum, plus superannuation. AccessHC also offers access to salary packaging.
