We are seeking an experienced and qualified Health Promotion Officer to join our friendly HP team. The role can be part-time 0.8 FTE or full-time, is ongoing and will work mainly from our Lilydale site.
Health promotion is a key component of the services provided by Inspiro, and is primarily supported by Department of Health funding stream.
Inspiro’s Integrated Health Promotion Plan (IHP) 2021 - 2025 provides strategic direction to the organisation, our partners and the community related to our priority areas.
The current Integrated Health Promotion plan has a majority focus on the following two priority areas:
The primary objective of the Health Promotion Officer position is to facilitate the provision of evidence-base health promotion practice, under the health promotion priority area of Active Living, with opportunities to facilitate project work under Healthy Eating and the Prevention of Violence Against Women.
The principal part of Inspiro’s philosophy has an emphasis on illness prevention, health promotion and early intervention strategies. The person will work within a team of dedicated professionals to provide high quality, multi-disciplinary health service to the community.

To be the successful candidate you must meet the position requirements as well as undertake a current Police Record Check and hold an Employee Working with Children Check.
