A JCAL Career Consultant / Workplace Consultant provides localised and individualised support to the candidate and employer to progress placement and career progression providing outcomes for both.
To provide end to end support for JCAL candidates/participants in preparation for employment and/or life skills, employment placement and in ongoing on the job support including workplace assistance to ensure positive, productive and long term outcome and career paths for JCAL candidates.
You will have a business and development background that will help you build new and maintain existing partnerships with local communities and employers. Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs.
To engage with candidates and identify a range of vocational and non-vocational interventions that will assist them in overcoming barriers to employment. This can also include referrals to specialised services to manage and maintain candidate’s health.
You will assist candidates prepare for, secure and maintain sustainable on-going employment through workplace support, liaise with employers and working effectively with all internal and external stake holders.
