The role:

A perfect role for a Physiotherapist to join a Residential Aged Care home in North Sydney. You will provide holistic care and deliver best-practices in person-centred care. You will deliver safe and effective both consumer choice and clinical care to our residents. You will be responsible for ensuring that our consumers receive the care they need with dignity, respect and involving them in all decisions about their health. You will undertake physiotherapy assessments and ongoing treatments to our residents and undertake training on safe manual handling practice with staff.

Who we are looking for:

You will be a team player, professional, friendly and can work a regular roster within our village

• Must have at least one year experience in a similar role; preferably in aged care
• Excellent clinical knowledge and competent documentation skills
• Understanding and knowledge of Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional, friendly disposition, and have the ability to remain calm in a very busy aged care home
• Self-motivated, trustworthy, takes pride in personal appearance.
• Strive for excellence in care and service for our people

Essential Qualifications:

• Tertiary Qualification in Physiotherapy
• Current AHPRA Registration and membership of Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
