• Full Time, temporary up to 12 months with possibility of ongoing
• 12 hours shift including nights and weekends

• Onsite staff accommodation is available when on shift.
• Clerk Grade 3/4, Salary ($72,418 – $79,297), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading   

About the role

This role is required to work from the Balund-a Program Residential Facility, located 22kms south west of the rural town of Tabulam. The successful applicant is required to work shift work and balance the individual needs of offenders whilst maintaining the security of the facility and the safety of the community.

Essential requirements

• Current Medium rigid licence or willingness/ability to obtain within the first 6 months
• Current first aid certificate
• Knowledge of Aboriginal issues and a commitment to work effectively with Aboriginal communities.
• Knowledge of the criminal justice system.
