In this role, you will provide a service within the multidisciplinary Allied Health Team to the aged population to enable them to remain as healthy and active as possible and to support them to remain in their own home. You will be responsible for analysing client’s fitness to help them improve or maintain good health through a caring and professional service, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory groups both internal and external.

This position and can be either full-time or part-time to suit your individual needs, let us know your preference.

Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000 p.a + 10.5% superannuation commensurate with experience. You will also have access to $15,990 salary packaging, which depending on your personal circumstances, may result in an increase in your take home pay. Get in touch with us to explore this further!

ABOUT OUR TEAM

At genU, our Allied Health team improves the lives of our community by improving the wellbeing and ability to manage everyday tasks of our clients. Running out of the Eric Hart Centre, our Allied Health team consists of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Dietetics Specialist Behaviour Support and Allied Health Assistance.

We are located at the Eric Hart Centre in Lara, VIC. We are not far from either Geelong, Ballarat or Western suburbs of Melbourne. Lara town centre is 15kms from the Geelong CBD, 23kms from Werribee and the western edge of the Melbourne metropolitan area and 60kms from the Melbourne CBD.

About You!

To be successful in this role it is a requirement that you:

  • A degree in Exercise Physiology, or if you are a Physiotherapist a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and AHPRA.
  • Full member of ESSA and demonstrated ability to work within the code of conduct and ethical principles.
  • Professional written, oral and verbal communication skills, including computer literacy and professional report writing skills.
  • Highly desirable: demonstrated previous experience in the industry and/or in a similar role
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless you are an Excepted Person as defined by the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions. All applicants must therefore be able to comply with this requirement.
