Kew Neighbourhood Learning Centre is a not for profit organisation located in Kew. We have a small social enterprise cafe that operates Monday to Friday providing meals and coffee to our participants and local community. The cafe also functions as an educational space for disadvantaged learners wishing to develop their hospitality skills. Sparechair wants to increase it's revenue potential by developing the catering aspect of our business. We are looking for a creative, positive and flexible individual to join our team.

This position will provide an opportunity to the right person to develop the role and make it their own.

• Be the first point of contact for all organisational enquiries and requests including stock management and catering opportunities;
• Manage all enquiries regarding catering, understanding all requirements, quoting, contracting and logistics from customer service to delivery;
• Monitor and track the sales targets and report to the Executive Manager on a fortnightly basis;
• Determine new strategies to follow up warm leads and develop existing relationships from one off or occasional interactions into repeated and regular connections, including event follow up;
• The successful applicant will be responsible for driving revenue, managing the day to day operations, putting together catering quotes and providing a meaningful pre-accredited educational program;

• Experience in menu design and cooking;
• Great organisational skills;
• Strong communication skills and capacity to engage with people from different backgrounds;
• Desire to work collaboratively, creatively and independently to solve problems;
• Ability to create a fun work environment with a diverse group of people, be they staff, volunteers, participants or patrons;
• Ability to work well in an ever-changing environment including interruptions and ever-changing priorities;
• Demonstrated ability to manage risk and ensure a safe working environment.
