Knoxbrooke Outsource is one of our Social Enterprise operations currently located in Mount Evelyn, Victoria providing Packaging, Assembly and Timber Services to commercial businesses within the Outer Eastern region of Melbourne.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Due to our growing business, we are searching for a full-time Production Supervisors (Factory Hand / Disability Support Worker) to work alongside a small team, leading by example, providing guidance and supervision to complete factory production work. Supported by qualified Training & Support Officers and dedicated Employment Coaches, your tasks will include:

  • Packaging, assembly, collation, light manufacturing or timber work (machine or hand)
  • Monitoring team output including quality of production
  • Assisting with stock movement and stocktakes
  • General workspace housekeeping

ABOUT YOU

Our ideal candidate will be someone who’s looking for real job satisfaction within a rewarding team environment. Your experience may be in a leadership role within production/manufacturing and/or you may have had experience supporting people with disabilities in the community (having worked in a factory setting yourself is a plus but not essential). You will definitely be process driven and a clear communicator with a positive attitude. Keen to support and encourage others, you will also have the ability to interact with people of diverse abilities. Successful applicants will have a current manual driver’s license and a forklift licence (preferred).

Please note requirements of these roles will also include:

  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or authorised medical exemption
  • Willingness to undertake a NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Evidence of the right to work in Australia
