To Kua’s new Partnerships Manager.

Kua - a social enterprise doing Climate Positive Coffee for workplaces across Australia - is hiring! Kua operates hand in hand with its sibling roaster Commonfolk, and does four things a little differently:

• Coffee is ethically sourced with a priority on working with smallholder growers.
• Waste is minimised via circular or compostable packaging and capture of spent coffee grounds.
• Carbon emissions are measured, reduced and offset every year, at 200%.
• $1 from every kilogram of coffee sold is re-invested in communities where the coffee is grown.

The role of Kua’s Partnerships Manager is to keep Kua’s workplaces inspired and caffeinated. This means:

• Driving a van full of coffee (and waste coffee, for repurposing!) to and from workplaces across Sydney.
• Overseeing warehouse operations, including order fulfilment, equipment cleaning and reporting on stock.
• Working with our sales team to invite new folks to the party and expand Kua and Commonfolk’s impact.
• Soliciting and sharing customer feedback, while championing Climate Positive Coffee.

To do this, you’ll need a driver’s licence and solid driving record, experience as a barista (with an understanding of commercial espresso equipment) and a passion for quality coffee.

These are additional goal-kicking attributes:

• Your local barista describes you as ‘super friendly’ to their colleagues (you’re chatty and personable).
• You’re a fan of a neatly organised kitchen cutlery draw (you’re detail-oriented).
• When weekend plans go off-script, you see it as an adventure (you embrace ‘startup life’ / self-management).
• You’re known to be a good listener (you can solicit early and open feedback from workplace partners).
