Centre Against Sexual Assault Central Victoria is a dynamic organisation providing specialist services to clients and community across the central Victoria region. We provide 24-hour crisis care support, therapeutic counselling, early intervention, professional education and training and research. We provide outreach services across the Loddon region including a specialist service at Tarrengower Prison.

We are committed to building understanding for individuals, community and organisations to respond to sexual violence and prevent it from occurring.

Role Summary

The Training and Programs Officer is responsible for delivering the CASACV training programs, delivering information and capacity building to professionals and community members to recognise the different forms of sexual violence, understand what drives thereof, and have the resources, information, and tools to respond to indicators and disclosures of sexual violence.

This role also provides administrative support to CASACV group programs, and supports and contributes to key community events to strengthen community knowledge and prevent family and sexual violence in the community.

The position is based in Bendigo, Victoria, and will require some delivery of training in services and community organisations across the Loddon Campaspe Region.

About You

You are passionate about social change. You have experience in adult education and training; and you have a strong interest in community development and primary prevention of family and sexual violence.
