Life Without Barriers is one of Australia's largest not-for-profit organisations. We aim to partner with people (including those in the justice system, with a disability, in out of home care, are homeless, who have mental health issues, are youth offenders, or are refugees) to change their lives for the better. We value relationships, imagination, courage, responsiveness and we are respectful and caring in all our dealings.
We are currently seeking 4 Clinicians to join our Multisystemic Therapy (MST) team based in North Lakes, QLD.
MST is an empirically based and internationally proven treatment model developed through 30 years of applied research. MST is designed specifically for young people (10-16 years) and focuses on changing factors linked to anti-social, offending behaviour across individual, family, peer, school/vocational and community systems.
This is the first ever standard MST program to commence in Qld. We are excited to extend the opportunity to suitably qualified Clinicians to be a part of the program roll out and through the MST model develop comprehensive, systemic intervention plans for young offenders and their families that lead to real change. As part of a team of Clinicians and under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor, this role will create the opportunity to provide in-home clinical services to a small caseload of serious and/or repeat young offenders.
We want to work with people who are passionate about making a difference; who are open to new ways of thinking; who value genuine, long-lasting relationships; and who are flexible, courageous, and believe in opportunity for all.
We will provide you with opportunities to learn and evolve as part of a growing and vital organization and the chance to work and be a part of a team making a genuine difference in your community.
In addition to ongoing individual and peer supervision and professional development opportunities, Life Without Barriers will offer successful applicants an attractive remuneration package including:
