  • Providing individual, family / caregiver and community interventions through the flexible use of a range of psychotherapeutic strategies on a needs basis including out of hours in accordance with approved policies.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on call roster and work flexibly across 7 days per week.

Skills and Experience

  • Masters qualification in Psychology or social work or a minimum 4 year degree in Social Work or Psychology recognized by the Psychologists registration Board, or registration/eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Expertise in family/care giver systems theory and interventions and behavioural and cognitive behavioural therapies and their application to the treatment of juvenile offenders.
  • Relevant experience working with marginalised, minority and difficult to engage young people and their families.
  • Ability to plan and deliver evidence based interventions with individuals, families or systems.
  • Minimum Class C Driver's Licence.
