About the role

This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for you to make a positive change in the lives of People with a Disability. These roles are true casual roles and hours of work will vary over a 24/7 roster with active night shifts.

Working with people who display challenging behaviours, you will possess resilience and self-confidence to facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with customers in a positive and proactive environment.

You will be actively supporting their individual needs and creating a safe environment. This role will be based in Port Macquarie. We have 3 casual positions available.  

Key Responsibilities

• Day to day care (including personal care) and supervision of our customers
• Community Access & Transport
• Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
• Documenting & Progress Note keeping

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in providing positive support to people who display challenging behaviours
• Availability to work a 24/7 roster with active night shifts
• Certificate III Community Welfare, Disability or similar
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check.
