This role will support the implementation and management of Landcare Australia’s digital communications strategies and associated content. This role drives growth of Landcare Australia’s online audience, this includes activities that will increase online engagement, raise awareness of Landcare Australia’s brands and programs.
The digital content and campaign activity will help the Landcare Australia team to attract funding from government, philanthropic and corporate partners to support the landcare movement. The successful candidate must be able to hit the ground running with day to day campaign and digital marketing projects.
Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinating and assisting with the development of engaging content for Landcare Australia’s social media, websites, eNewsletters and eDM campaigns and include SEO alignment.
- Identify Landcare events and volunteer group activities in the field to create content for digital platforms.
- Production of eDM and eNewsletter publications
- Publish content across all website platforms
- List tag management and data segmentation
- Support the Digital Manager to set up and edit automations triggering user journeys
- Implement and manage social media content calendar, content creation and curation, and engagement with the social media and Landcarer community.
- Resizing of images and minor video editing
- Collection and reporting of digital analytics
- Supporting the Digital Marketing Manager in managing the Google Adword Account
- Miscellaneous administrative tasks
- Maintain a safe workplace
- Support the marketing and communications team as required.
Skills & Experience:
We are seeking a proactive digital marketing enthusiast who is hands on in implementing campaigns, creating content and implementing digital marketing activities. With a minimum of two years’ experience in digital marketing, it is essential the candidate is proactive, can operate independently and work in a small team environment.
Essential:
- Ability to work independently within a small dynamic team
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with attention to detail
- Creative flair and proven ability to write and develop engaging content for online audiences, including an understanding of how to communicate to target audiences and key demographics Basic understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
- Highly organised and can manage multiple projects ensuring all digital marketing activities are delivered on-time and to a high standard
- Measure multiple campaign performance using appropriate digital marketing metrics
- Experience using content management systems (CMS), especially WordPress
- A working knowledge of Hootsuite, Active Campaign and SurveyMonkey; Adobe creative suite experience would be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and Facebook Analytics and the ability to identify and determine and measure ROI
- Basic knowledge of Google Ads
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing or relevant discipline
- A can do attitude to make things happen

Highly Desirable:
- Basic knowledge of CRM including automations, and user journeys
- Basic knowledge of the implementation of SEO and SEM
- Experience with Google Tag Manager
