We are looking for an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team in Lalor in this rewarding Part -Time opportunity. You will be responsible for providing support with activities of daily living and developing, implementing and monitoring Individual Plan’s including personal care. In this role you will work to facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with and for the clients within the house. This role involves working in a mixed house with 4 female residents and 1 male resident with minimal behaviours of concern, all residents are ambulant and have very limited verbal communication skills, as such they do require support in all areas of their day to day lives.
The rostered shifts include a mix of morning, afternoon and evening shifts, with every other weekend off and 2 sleep overs, on one weekend in a 4 week roster. In order to be compliant, successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and an International Criminal History Record Check; if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years. A Working with Children Check is also required (where relevant to the role) and a current Victorian Driver's Licence is essential.
