About the role

This is a rewarding opportunity for you to support our clients in the Manjimup community and help them to engage and develop interests and increase access to the local community.

We have part-time contracts available for 6 months. Shifts days and times can be flexible and may vary to suit client’s requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Promote and assist Clients to achieve goals identified in Person Centred Plans
• Assist Clients to develop independence and community networks
• Support our client’s interests
• Establish a rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and their carer to achieve positive outcomes
• Maintenance of progress notes and record keeping

Skills & Experience

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or relevant work experience
• Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills with clients, families and stakeholders
• Experience working with clients with challenging behaviours
• Demonstrate confidentiality and professional boundaries
• A current First Aid Certificate (mandatory)
• A current unrestricted Driver Licence

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
