We are looking for a Disability Support Worker for our residential home in the South eastern suburb of Clayton. You will be responsible for providing support with activities of daily living and developing, implementing and monitoring Individual Plans including personal care.
Our Group home is a house of 5, - 4 ladies and 1 gentleman.
The ladies are all in their 60’s and 70’s and Our male resident is in his 50’s. All residents have communication difficulties.
The ladies have high support needs. They have complex care needs as well with a number of specific plans in place and require support with the transfers - so manual handling experience is preferred
Our Male resident has behaviours of concern, so if you also have experience with Behaviours that would be beneficial.
Join a solid & established team, that works really well together to support our residents. We require someone that can drive the bus, good with computers and systems, but also willing to learn.
A candidate with a good sense of humour, a team player who shows initiate and is passionate about making a difference in our clients’ lives.
