Working as a Casual or Permanent Part Time Disability Support Worker in the Sydney Western Suburbs, you will be providing support to clients with disability by assisting them to live independently and achieve their goals. Possible work locations include Bass Hill, Yennora, Blacktown, Rossmore, Leppington and Condell Park.
The successful applicant will have proven success working with clients who have challenging behaviours, complex medical needs and the ability to engage and attend to a variety of clients. Successful candidates will have strong written and verbal communication, as well as efficient computer literacy. The ideal candidate will also be available for 3-10 hour shifts across a 24/7 roster; this includes active night shifts and weekends. Experience supporting client’s with trauma and manual handling is a bonus.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check.
