About the role

Working within our Business Support team within Shared Services, you will be responsible for the functional administration, configuration and maintenance of our Kronos system, which we use for Award Interpretation, rostering/scheduling, and time and attendance. You will be the key Kronos Administrator, responsible for support (BAU and project), request solutions, and problem resolutions.
This is a permanent full time role with flexible location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support and administration of Kronos
  • Configure, and provide coordination and expertise for:
    • maintenance and update of key system architecture relating to award interpretation, rostering, business modelling and costing
    • Pay Codes, Work Rules, Integrations, Interfaces, Advanced Scheduler
    • Data integration and migration activities
    • Upgrades, roll-outs, roll-backs
    • BAU and Project deliverables
  • Provide functional advice to business on best use of Kronos, and actively contribute to the on-going development of Shared Services HRIS solutions and systems
  • Manage incidents, problems and requests, and functional issues through to completion within agreed time frames
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders (Shared Services, ICT, P&C and beyond) to ensure LWB HRIS Operational solutions match business requirements and assist with change management solutions
  • Document:
    • Change & Release documents
    • Kronos system diagrams and flows
    • Functional system administration processes and procedures
    • User documentation and Training
    • Testing (end-to-end, UAT etc.)
    • Project documentation
    • Training documentation
    • Communications

Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience as a Kronos functional administrator
  • Skills configuring Kronos, including but not limited to, Award Interpretation, Pay Codes, Work Rules, Interfaces, Scheduling, Advanced Scheduler
  • Previous experience as a system/applications administrator in a medium/large organisation
  • Demonstrated experience providing frontline functional user support for payroll / HR / labour management systems
  • Significant experience with governance, documentation frameworks and protocols, including, but not limited to, change implementations, developing user documentation, processes and procedures, testing and training.
  • Significant experience in engaging business users to capture issues and business requirements, and ability to work closely with a range of stakeholders including managers, peers, employees, external organisations, service providers
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting issues quickly, identifying and analysing solutions in a timely manner, and managing competing priorities and delivering high quality outcomes within agreed timeframes
  • Exceptional communication skills, including written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines and produce quality work

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
