About the role

This is a newly created role, supporting the claims for Lifestyle Services. The NDIS Claims Officer will be responsible for receiving and processing a high volume of NDIS payment requests in accordance with organisational policies and procedures at a regional level. In addition the incumbent will provide administrative support within a regional office. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Processing high volume NDIS payment requests via the NDIA portal
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of invoices to NDIS customers and Plan Managers for services rendered for a fee to clients
  • Accurate record keeping and maintaining the Payment Request Trackers and other financial logs
  • Assisting in the preparation of weekly, monthly and year end NDIS payment request data    

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Receivable position in a large organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in providing timely and accurate customer service and support in a fast paced, high transactional environment
  • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office suite of programs, for example Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with a positive can-do attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment  

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
