ABOUT US

The Multicultural Council of the Northern Territory (MCNT) is the peak-body not-for-profit organisation that provides advocacy and support services to people from multicultural backgrounds in the Top End of the Northern Territory.

Primary Duties:

• Provide professional support to assist all MCNT clients and refer MCNT clients to relevant service agencies as required.
• Provide information and services for the multicultural community.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

• A degree in Social Work/Community Work or other relevant tertiary qualification with equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in working with people from CALD communities, including recently arrived humanitarian entrants.
• Ability to perform ad hoc duties (may include some physical tasks) and support other staff as required.
• Should have a proper visa with work rights for the duration of the employment.
• Must possess a current driver’s license and willingness to use own vehicle as required.
