About the program

Wellways Australia is the Carer Gateway service provider in South West Sydney, Nepean Blue Mountains and Queensland. Carer Gateway service providers provide carers with practical information, advice and support to access services that help them to sustain in their caring role. Carers are people who provide a caring role to someone in their life who has a disability, mental health issue, chronic health condition, terminal illness or is frail aged. About the role

The Carer Gateway Administration Officer is a newly created role that supports the efficient and effective day to day operations of the Carer Gateway Services offered by Wellways.

Under the support and direction of the National Manager Carer Services Project the role supports the Carer Gateway team with a wide range of administrative, stakeholder engagement and quality activities that assist us to provide excellent support to carers.

Working under limited direction the areas of focus for this role will be:

• Administration of processes that ensure effective service delivery including customer experience surveys, compliments/complaints register, incident reporting and registration of subcontractors, brokers and suppliers
• Registering consortium partners, service providers and community organisations to deliver Emergency Respite, Carer Directed Supports and One-Off Practical Supports
• Reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of systems and processes relating to participation and co-production to promote continuous improvement and demonstrate effective outcomes Supporting Quality and continuous improvement activities across the program
