Working alongside the Community Development team including the Arts & Culture, Gender Equity Health & Wellbeing and Social Justice Officers this role is responsible for the delivery of the Mitchell Shire Council Life Stages Strategy, supporting volunteer groups across the Shire including neighbourhood houses and men's sheds. This role supports Senior Citizen Centres and delivery of key functions in maintaining ageing in place opportunities for older community members.

To be successful in this role you will bring proven experience in supporting volunteer committees of management and demonstrated experience in supporting community members across the life stages to participate in community life. You will have project and events management as well as experience in the development, monitoring and reporting against Council strategies.
