MSWA provides vital support and services to people living with all neurological conditions in Western Australia. This includes people living with multiple sclerosis (MS), stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, motor neurone disease and acquired brain injury.

Key Duties

Provide assistance with a variety of domestic duties for our clients. Your responsibilities may include:

• Meal preparation
• General housekeeping such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and tidying
• Household cleaning - kitchens, bathrooms, etc
• Changing linen and making beds
• Laundry – washing and ironing

Essential Criteria

• Positive and friendly attitude with a demonstrated ability to work with people requiring different care needs
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Current Police Clearance – less than 6 months old (or willing to obtain)
• Current CPR certificate – less than 6 months old (or willing to obtain)
• Current Australian “C” class Driver’s Licence and reliable and roadworthy vehicle
• Proven capability in meal preparation and able to follow recipes is desirable
