Garrawarra Centre is an Aged Care facility that offers person centred care to residents living with Dementia.
We are offering an exciting and unique opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification of Certificate 3 in Health Services Assistance while working as a trainee Assistant in Nursing, gaining experience in aged care and dementia specific nursing care. This opportunity is available to participants who would like to commence an entry into Nursing, who would like a paid gap year before commencing further studies or have always wanted to be a Nurse.
The positions are 13 month temporary full-time positions, working a rotating 24hr, 7 day a week roster. The theoretical component is conducted by TAFE NSW and trainees are paid to attend classes. The program will commence on Monday 12 February 2024.

Garrawarra Centre is located between Helensburgh and Waterfall on the ourskirts of the Royal National Park. The centre provides person centred care to 104 residents living with Dementia.
