• Rotating roster includes sleepovers and support shifts

• Permanent Part-Time Position Available
• 66 hours per fortnight

In this position you can engage with young people and actively participating in activities, motivating them through their growth and development. Teaching life skills, building rapport, role-modelling positive behaviour and assisting the young people to reach their goals creates a satisfying and rewarding occupation.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring a safe home for the young people
• Manage any challenging behaviours
• Provide new and challenging opportunities for development
• Supporting the client's case plans
• Commute client's to activities, appointments and other functions
• Encourage each client to learn and development their competencies for independence
• Facilitate community access and integration
• Support appropriate cultural activities

To be considered for this position it is essential you have:

• Certificate 4 in Youth Work, Community Services, or equivalent
• Min. 1 year experience in working with young people
• Experience in working with in a residential setting
• Current Drivers Licence
• NSW Working with Children Check Clearance
• Computer literacy, record keeping and report writing skills
