mulch (Marymead's Urban Land Community Harvest) is seeking a horticulturalist/ urban farmer to join the team.
Mulch is a vibrant social enterprise providing skills development and community connection opportunities for young adults with disability in a productive garden/ urban farm. The enterprise is based on permaculture principles and has been successfully operating for 8 years.
We are seeking an enthusiastic team player to lead the horticultural development at mulch, working closely with the staff team and participants, as well as the Unit Manager.
The role requires knowledge of, and connection with, any of the following networks: urban food, permaculture, market gardening, disability, social enterprise. The mulch horticulturalist needs to have big-picture perspective, planning skills and also an ability to work alongside staff and participants. Experience working with people with disability is an advantage.
