About the role:

As a Senior Student Pathways Advisor provides support and leadership to improve the employment and training participation and outcomes for young people targeted within the VCAL Program.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in career guidance, student welfare/youth work, vocational counselling, education, or a related field; or lesser formal qualifications with significant field experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and specialist knowledge in providing career and pathways planning support with young people, particularly early school leavers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with young people who may be at risk and have barriers to employment and training.
  • Demonstrated written communication skills and computer literacy in word processing and basic database skills.
