About the Role

We have an opportunity for Part Time Community Support Workers to join our Community Home Support Team in positions available across the Perth Metro area. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 15-20 hours per week.

You will be providing high-quality support within our clients’ homes to encourage and promote independence and facilitate connections with others. Duties may include personal care, social support, medication assistance, domestic assistance and transport. Importantly, the role is varied, rewarding and relies on compassion and an ability to build real relationships with the people we support.

Skills and Experience Required

• Able to attend a Recruitment and Assessment Information Day on Thursday 3rd March 2022 (details will be provided to shortlisted candidates)
• Able to attend two full days of orientation and training on Monday 21st March and Monday 28th March 2022.These will be followed by rostered buddy shifts.
• Available for a minimum of three days per week (preferably Monday to Friday, some weekend work available. Daily hours will vary)
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
• Current Driver’s Licence
• COVID-19 Vaccination (or approved exemption)
• Access to a roadworthy vehicle with a current WA registration and at least third-party insurance (issued by an insurance company)
• National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
