About the role

MercyCare is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to join the team at our Joondalup Residential Aged Care facility on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and management of clinical and care staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care that promotes wellbeing and quality of life and meets the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.

To join our friendly and passionate team, you will need to be compassionate, have the ability to build rapport with both residents and family members, be hygiene and safety focused, and a positive team player.

To be considered for this role, you will also require:

  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience in a Clinical Nurse Manager role
  • Demonstrated leadership and people skills
  • Proven organisational, delegation and time management abilities
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Quality Standards
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
