Summary of the role: We are very excited to be able to advertise for a Mental Health Occupational Therapy Educator to support clinicians in our new Transition to Mental Health Practice Occupational Therapy program. We currently have Occupational Therapy Transition Clinicians across Saltwater Clinic in Footscray and Wyndham Clinic in Hoppers Crossing. This is an exciting opportunity for existing educators or experienced Occupational Therapists interested in entering the education space. The Transition Program is a 12-month program targeted towards Social Workers and Occupational Therapists who already have at least 2 years of experience from another field and are interested in moving into mental health. The transition positions give experienced clinicians the opportunity to enter the mental health workforce with structured learning support to build mental health capability. The positions will be supported by clinical educators. The transition positions will be supported by the Learning and Development Team.
