A 12 month fixed-term position has become available within our Family Mental Health Support Service (FMHSS) in Mt Gambier. Mind’s FMHSS provides early intervention support to children, young people, and their families in the Limestone Coast region, who are at risk of or are experiencing mental health concerns. The program encompasses three tiers of support inclusive of short-term brief intervention, intensive support, and community capacity building.
The Community Mental Health Practitioner will provide early intervention support to young people by driving practices that assist them to develop capacity, meaningful relationships and identify their strengths. This role will also see you supporting families and carers through understanding their concerns and the provision of information.
