About the role

You will provide targeted support for customers to enhance their skills in daily living through the provision of coaching, support and mentoring. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work within a team to help develop and enhance resident’s individual goals and aspirations in daily living. We are looking for an individual to work part time between 12pm to 8pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Duties

  • Use co-design and co-productions models to develop, deliver and review group program activities.
  • Co-produce and deliver relevant groups in line with NDIS funding.
  • Apply group learning theory and respond appropriately to the individual learning needs and styles of group participants.

What are we looking for?

  • Tertiary qualification (minimum Cert IV) in mental health, psychology, social work, occupational therapy or other related field as designated by Mind.
  • Tertiary qualification (minimum Cert IV) in employment, vocational training, pre-employment education or teaching is desirable.
  • Understanding of NDIS funding in particular Supported Independent Living model.
