The Supported Independent Living (SIL) residential service is for people living with severe and enduring psychosocial disability. The SIL, SIL Haven and SIL Dual Disability residences are typically staffed 24/7 and funded through client’s NDIS packages with practice guided by Mind’s Model of Recovery Oriented Practice, SIL model and the Dual Disability framework. The services are designed to build positive, meaningful lives in collaboration with the community with a focus on supporting people to achieve their My Better Life goals.
We are seeking an empathetic, resilient Mental Health Support Workers for permanent, part time (30 hours per week) opportunities to work within the Haven ‘home away from home’ properties in the Epping or Brunswick area. Working on a 24/7 rotating roster with some night shifts, you will play an integral role in developing individual programs and providing recovery-oriented, person-centred support to assist clients work towards wellbeing and independent living.
