Your Opportunity

Active lead in ensuring that resident assessments, development and review of care plans and consultation with carers/key stakeholders are all carried out within the requisite timeframes and to the highest standards.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure that assessment and care planning processes are in line with Aged Care Quality Standards & NDIS standards
• Lead the team of RNs/Ens and CWAs/AINs in a professional and approachable manner
• Liaison with allied health staff in regard to the residents health status
• Ensure that full and accurate records are maintained suggest removing or changing this wording, or deleting entire dot point
• Undertake staff supervision, mentorship and support including strong, timely and accurate communication
• Contribute to ensuring that AN-ACC funding claims are accurate, based upon resident assessments completed, and reviewed in a timely manner 

Requirements for Success

• At least 3-years’ experience working in Aged Care and/or Mental Health as a Registered Nurse
• Experienced dealing with challenging behaviours
• Aged Care experience essential; Mental Health desirable
• Currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
• Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similar background
• Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft 365
