Your Opportunity

As a cleaner you will report to the Building Manager and will be responsible for cleaning of our Residential Aged Care facility. You will ensure that all cleaning meets the current and relevant regulations and legislations under the Aged Care Standards.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Responsible for the cleaning and presentation of the facility
• Ensure infection control procedures are followed
• Report risks or potential risks for residents in the facility
• Represent Mission Australia to external contacts at all opportunities
• Operate in line with Mission Australia and the Aged Care Division policies and procedure

Requirements for Success

• Cleaning experience in an Aged Care facility or similar would be desirable
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Be able to work supervised and/or unsupervised at times
• Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn 

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
