Our Journey:

Monash Health Imaging sites are at Clayton, Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey, Kingston and two Dental Imaging practices.  Included at these sites are a full range of modalities including MRI, PET/CT, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Mammography, CT, Interventional Angiography and Bone Densitometry. 

The new Monash Children’s encompasses the latest technology including, MRI, Mock MRI, x-ray, ultrasound, robotic fluoroscopy and angiography and Carestream RIS and PACS.  The department will also have Australia’s first department wide patient experience system to facilitate a great environment for our Children of today and tomorrow.  Other modalities including CT and Nuclear Medicine will be shared with the adult hospital

A Day in the Life:

We have full and/or part time opportunities working a rotating Monday to Friday roster!

As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will provide acute nursing care with exceptional competence within the Monash Imaging departments of Monash Medical Centre and Monash Children’s Hospital Clayton.  You will assist with Diagnostic scans and Interventional procedures provided in the various modalities of Monash Health Imaging

Work across modalities such as CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Angiography
You will work collaboratively with all Monash Imaging staff to ensure a comprehensive, excellent and efficient service is provided to all consumers, visitors and staff members

What You Bring:

These roles require that you have studied as a Registered Nurse and have well developed clinical judgement and skill, gained from your previous nursing experience.

  • You can demonstrate recent acute and/or critical care nursing experience
  • Patient and Family Centred care is always top of your mind, and you live and breathe this in your day to day
  • You have a strong commitment and ability to set standards of excellence in nursing within Monash Imaging
  • A collaborative approach to your work and an enjoyment of working in a close team who support each other

What you need:

  • Registered Nurse qualifications are a must for this role
  • You will have experience in an acute setting, with critical care experience highly desirable
  • Radiology experience would be great, but if you have the passion to move to this field, we’d love for you to bring your acute skills over
  • You can commit to a rotating Monday – Friday roster, no night duty, with the ability to be on call
