The primary purpose of this position is to undertake projects within the contraception stream of the SPHERE Research Program. These projects are aimed at developing innovative ways of improving the delivery and uptake of contraception services within primary care (general practice and pharmacy) and improving the capacity of primary health care providers to deliver these services. Projects within this research stream involve both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The Research Fellow will also be expected to contribute to the production of research grants, publications and reports; pursue independent collaborative research; and engage with a range of national key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have an honours degree in the relevant discipline or have equivalent qualifications.
