• $31.08/ hour + super
• Telemarketing WFH until 12 March
• 33-35 hrs each available

Our not-for-profit organisation is committed to the full participation of people with disability in society. We do this through educating local businesses on how they can improve access and inclusion.

We need 2 Inclusion & Access telemarketers (casual) who have a genuine commitment to the rights of people with disability and have proven track record in telemarketing.

Job Description

• Identify businesses in specific local government areas that are not on the current excel data sheet.
• Call these businesses - introduce yourself professionally, inform them of the amazing opportunity to expand their customer base and earn more through improving access and inclusion (the hook!).
• Encourage them to complete a short survey to learn how they are currently doing when it comes to access and inclusion, gain some tips on how they can improve, and have the opportunity to be nominated into council's award activity, and gain recognition and positive exposure.
• All business details must be accurately recorded on the excel data sheet including at least one form of main contact.
• For 31.5 - 33.5 paid hours per telemarketer, we expect them to successfully call at least 500 businesses each in specific local government areas. Out of 500, we expect 165-170 businesses to complete the survey and join the e-news distribution list to get tips. (success indicators).
• The completed excel data sheet must be emailed to the supervisor on or before 5pm 12th of March. The timesheets must be submitted to the supervisor once a fortnight.
• Any issues, the telemarketers must promptly report, gain approval, and/or discuss with the supervisor.

Essential criteria

• Solid experience and successful track record in a telemarketing, customer service or sales job.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete and meet reporting requirements.
• Own phone.

Desirable criteria

• Understanding or experience working with people with disability.
