Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
The Nepean Blue Mountains Speech Pathology Department is seeking an adaptable and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with an interest in learning to join our team on a Permanent Full-Time basis. Part of this role will see you independently manage a caseload to provide acute & subacute Speech Pathology services to patients and their families.
This position offers skill development across a range of clinical areas, with access to supervision and professional development opportunities so clinicians can gain experience across all areas of acute hospital care and grow their clinical expertise.
The successful incumbent will work in a rotational model in the following clinical areas: Acute & Critical Care, Paediatric Feeding, Blue Mountains Hospital, Head & Neck, Aged Care and Neurology & Rehabilitation. Previous experience in objective assessment (VFSS) is favourably considered but is not a prerequisite for applications.
