• Full time, 12 month contract

We are currently seeking applications from highly motivated candidates for a full time, 12 month contract for a Community Events and Marketing Coordinator position. The successful candidate will work within the Community Services team.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Engagement Services, the Community Events and Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

• Lead the production of Community Services’ communication materials, including brochures, flyers, promotional materials, bulletins and newsletter. This includes dissemination of material in all Northside sites, relevant partner agencies and community locations.
• Lead all aspects of event management related to the portfolio area including; relationship management, promotion, coordination of volunteers and staff, and where appropriate, engagement of sponsors and partners.
• Develop a media distribution list for releases, contact and information.
• Develop and distribute information to staff and key stakeholders regarding media opportunities and activities of interest and relevance to Community Services.

The successful candidate must have relevant qualifications and experience in Communications or a related field, demonstrated ability to design, plan and produce a range of promotional material, full driver’s license and Working with Vulnerable People Check.
