Youth Off The Streets (YOTS) works with children and young people, their families and communities to create safety, offer support and provide opportunities to build a positive future. Since being established more than 30 years ago YOTS has grown significantly, attracting ongoing government and public support.
Now employing 200 staff who are supported by hundreds of volunteers, YOTS delivers a broad range of services including crisis accommodation, homelessness services, special assistance schools, youth support and intervention services, cultural support services, life-skills, employment programs, and community engagement.
YOTS is currently developing a new five-year strategy to commence in 2024, so this is an exciting time to join the team and influence future positive outcomes for young people.
Reporting to the COO and working very closely with the recently appointed CEO, this newly created position will work with the leadership team in developing and managing strategy frameworks, including contributing to the design and development of the new five-year organisational strategy. You will lead the design, execution and review of key projects that support the delivery of the five-year strategy and build organisational capabilities enabling business performance improvement.
Assisting the leadership team in establishing targets and metrics for reporting on outcomes and impact measures is a key part of the role, as is managing the tracking of business improvement projects and undertaking post implementation reviews.
You will facilitate workshops with leaders and cross-functional teams to translate goals into operational strategies helping to build alignment across the organisation. You will act as a champion and advocate for managing change effectively and ensure the consistent application of change management principles, frameworks, and tools.
You have developed your strategy development and project management career in either the for-profit or not-for-profit sectors. You have an aptitude for problem solving and decision making, managing complex, cross-functional, and time sensitive projects.
If working towards a better future for disadvantaged children and young people is important to you then please apply by submitting your resume and a cover letter responding to the required skills and experience above quoting # 887511, or call Hayley Martin on 02 8243 0570 to discuss your interest.
