The Queensland Sexual Assault Network (QSAN) is seeking an experienced administrator for the part time (24 hours/week) position of Administration and Communications Coordinator to support the QSAN Executive Officer. The position will be based in Townsville and operate from The Women’s Centre’s office at 118 Charles Street, Aitkenvale. The hours are flexible for the right candidate.
QSAN is the peak body for specialist sexual violence prevention support services in Queensland. QSAN collaborates with and advocates for a network of non-Government services that provide specialist sexual assault counselling, support, and prevention programs in Queensland.
The Administration and Communications Coordinator provides administrative support to the QSAN Executive Officer, develops and implements quality processes, manages communications and social media, processes all financial requirements including payroll, accounts and taxation. The position is also responsible for supporting the QSAN Executive Officer in developing and submitting all reporting to meet legislative, funding body and Incorporated Associations requirements.

The position is remunerated under the SCHCADS Award 2010 at Level 5. Due to the position working from The Women’s Centre, it is a genuine occupational requirement that it be filled by a woman as permitted by, and arguable under Sections 25, 104 and 105 of The Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.
